What’s up? Mr. Byte here and this is The AI Crunch. I’ve been off-grid all week, burning tanning in the sun. But of course, I’m still here to bring you the heat that you deserve.

So, let’s get to it before it cools down:

  • Create your own AI-powered tool in minutes

  • AI beats 99% of humans on creativity test

🔧 How To Create Your Own AI-Powered Tool In Minutes

Toolbuilder AI allows you to create an AI tool without writing a single line of code, and literally takes a few minutes to set up.

I’ve always dreamed of building my own AI tool, but never had the skill or patience to write a thousand lines of code. So, in my search for the next best option, this was the holy grail.

Toolbuilder AI can be used to create tools for things like simple task automation, all the way to complex stuff like (boring) data analysis tasks.

Now, I know what you might be thinking, “I have no ideas. What should I do?” Well, they’ve also got a pretty sweet gallery of some tools people have built on there, so draw some inspo from that.

It features some tools like a Mood Based Cocktail Recommender, a YouTube Thumbnail Grabber that extracts thumbnails from YouTube videos, and even a Fridge Recipe Generator that creates recipes based on the food you have in your fridge.

I’ll definitely be building a tool of my own ASAP, so be on the lookout for that.

Oh, and send me some recommendations for what you think I should build.

🤖 AI Beats 99% Of Humans On Creativity Test

Alright, this one is strange. You know how we always hear people say, “AI will never replace humans because it’s too robotic and humans are creative, blah, blah?”

Yeah, well this study claims the opposite.

If you’re not super familiar with the creativity research out there, a common test for it is the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT). It’s been around for decades.

The University of Montana did a study where they had ChatGPT take the test and compared it to over 2,700 college student responses nationwide.

And ChatGPT scored in the top 1%.

Now, I’m here to put an end to all this crap before it gets out of hand. In my opinion, this is sort of bogus. Impressive, sure. But, when it’s all said and done, it was a single test. We’ve got some time before we can just flat out say that ChatGPT is more creative than humans.

The real takeaway from this, is that it truly shows how much of an impact prompting has on the quality of output we get from ChatGPT.

Why?

Because I too have struggled with ChatGPT sounding “boring and robotic.” And until I really honed in on my prompting abilities, I thought there was no end in sight. Now, ChatGPT reads me beautiful and engaging bed time stories every night. So, from experience, there is hope for all the plagued robot prompters out there.
