While we all sit on the sidelines, waiting for the time when our entire jobs can be automated with AI, celebrities are actually doing it.

Big name celebrities like Brazilian soccer star, Neymar, are signing deals with brands to duplicate themselves with AI - to use in advertising and marketing campaigns all over the world.

AKA: deepfakes are officially going mainstream. Essentially, Neymar’s gonna be sitting at home playing FIFA on the couch…

While he makes tens of millions in brand deals. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me.

One of the biggest companies in the space, Metaphysic, is even getting things like movie deals. Are the deepfaked actors actually in the movie? That’s a mystery I don’t entirely know the answer to. But I’m gonna go out on a limb and say no.

🤖 Hackers steal 100,000 ChatGPT accounts

The dark web may have scooped up your ChatGPT account - and everything you’ve told it.

100k accounts were stolen, with the Raccoon Infostealer software. A cybersecurity firm Group IB, reported that it started all the way back in June 2022, so the cybercriminals have been taking their time clearly.

If you’ve told ChatGPT some of your deepest darkest secrets like I have, you may want to double check your account.

Open AI said they’re gonna give a million bucks to AI cybersecurity movements to help alleviate the PR pain.

This opens up a lot of questions when it comes to AI cybersecurity and how it’s gonna be handled. As we go further and further into the digital age, and hacking incidents like this become more common, cybersecurity will likely be one of the most important issues we will face.

Moral of the story: don’t go telling ChatGPT what your biggest fear is. It could come back to bite you.
