ChatGPT Can Now See, Hear, and Speak

ChatGPT is leveling up. Now it's not just chatting - it now has seeing, hearing, and speaking capabilities.

Interacting with ChatGPT is now more intuitive; you can snap a photo to start a conversation or engage in a voice chat.

In addition, with the new text-to-speech model, ChatGPT can generate human-like audio. It's so realistic that they worked with professional voice actors to fine-tune it.

Imagine being on vacation and wondering about a landmark. Instead of searching, snap a photo and ChatGPT will fill you in. Back home, it can even play chef's assistant, suggesting recipes based on the ingredients you have.

Over the next couple of weeks, ChatGPT will roll out these new features to Plus and Enterprise users, enhancing their AI experience.

Spotify is Cloning... Podcasters' Voices

Spotify and OpenAI are teaming up to make podcasts available in all languages.

OpenAI’s Whisper is doing the heavy lifting. Transcribes? Check. Translates? Check. Mirrors your voice in other languages? Double check.

Because why just have a podcast in English when you can have it in... all the languages? Fancy!

Spotify isn’t just translating; they’re literally cloning podcasters' voices for the translated version. I mean, why not? One voice, everywhere!

While Spotify is unveiling its voice cloning, they're also playing it coy. Safety first! Only a select few get to peek behind the curtain, but for the few podcasters who get access, their reach will surely expand.
